Internet Cats And Robots

We may have just recently caught up with the rest of the internet when it comes to a fixation on cats. Due to their father's severe allergies, our sons have been very cat deprived.

I suppose they have also been robot deprived, as the robot toys on the market (or at least the ones that we can afford) definitely do not live up to the robots they see on TV and in movies.

Many napkins like these are originally driven by my inability (or perhaps lack of interest) in actually fulfilling my sons' requests....ie, "We can't have a cat/very expensive Pokemon card/machine gun, but here is drawing of one on a napkin."

The Cat/Robot combination also provides an opportunity to mix two of my sons' favorite things: cuteness and technological malice.

This series started with Baymax and Grumpy Cat standing in for  the "Hairy Baby!" from my sons' preferred scene in "Big Hero 6," and continued irrationally onward from there. My reasonings for the various pairings probably do not bear much scrutiny. Click on the images or captions to see the original posts.
